Young Kye

For this month’s #HiLiteInThe6ix we got Young Kye, one of the London performers who will be putting on a show at Aures London soon.

This song has a slower beat and the video has over 200 thousand views, making this video his loudest one yet.

His song “Anyone” featuring Wiley & Reds also has a ton of views on YouTube. This song was produced by Penacho and has a harder feel and shows life in the streets in London.

Nadia Stone

The first artist highlight of November 2018 is @NadiaStone !
Nadia Stone, who will be performing @the_6ix in London has also been chosen to be apart of the Artist Appreciation for November.
Her latest song “Xhausted” is a spin off of the oldie “Candy Rain” by Soul For Real; it has that 90s feel with the funk of today’s day and age.
The video is super lit with fast cars, Nadia’s gangster side and an amazing storyline.
This song was directed by Omari J and Karma Jonez.
Her most recent song “Top Love” is a slow and sexy song that talks about reaching higher levels with your partner and not wanting the feeling to end.
It connects with women who are in relationship and missing their boo, this song has a soulful.vibe.
Both of these songs/ videos can be found on YouTube. Make sure you check it out and get ready for Nadia’s performance at @the_6ix in London, you don’t wanna miss it!

One of the Toronto artists hitting the stage for the @the_6ix in London event is @thorobreadofficial.

We’ve selected this artist to be appreciated for the month of November. You may have seen @thorobreadofficial’s music featured on the Toronto rappers page where he’s made quite some noise.

He’s been making music for a while now, some of his music videos on YouTube dating back to 7 years ago; no wonder he’s making such a huge name for himself in the streets of Toronto.

His songs like “Need More” and “F the Politics” are just a few examples of his lyrical abilities. His latest song “1 of 1” featuring Northside Benji recently had its visual dropped and is on YouTube now. The video is shot on the streets of Finch St W and Worwick St in Toronto, and gives the viewer a taste of the environment that @thorobread grew up in.

This song was directed by @directorflashjohnson aka #moviesonly who is from the UK. Currently @directorflashjohnson is working on a project to merge Canada and London artists, which is why both @northsidebenji and @thorobreadofficial will be performing at the upcoming music festival in the UK.

@Directorflashjohnson has worked with many talented artists and influencers in both Canada and London like: Kisi Jay, Showtime Damion, KM and The Rara.

He also created the #TheBigSIXCypher. With a close relationship to Drake’s basketball team leader @Bananacoach, we expect nothing but greatness from this creative genius. @Bananacoach will also be hosting the music festival in London. @NorthsideBenji’s smooth vocals in the course mixed with @thorobreadofficial’s verses and @directorflashjohnson’s creative direction makes for a straight banger.

This song definitely has that “Toronto vibe” and we can’t wait to see what @Thorobreadofficial, @Northsidebenji and @Bananacoach bring to the UK stage.

I took in his latest single “Listen” and the vibe was on 100. I took a listen to his self-titled EP “11:11” and he has some fire (If you haven’t already, check it out). S/O to the homie Fonz #DramaticTraxx also noted that he engineered this record. Fonz was actually one of the first engineers in the city that I met back in 2010 & worked with. This is a special edition highlight. For the month of May only, we will be showcasing 2 more artist!s For the second selection we’ve decided to pay homage to a record that you’ve most likely already heard (if you’re from Toronto or GTA), “Griselda Blanco”. This record took over the city last summer and is still doing numbers. It has about 3 million views on YouTube and is now bumping internationally in most parts of America and abroad. The two artists on this record Pengz (@FreeChaotic ) & TwoTwo (@TwoTwoReal) teamed up with producer “JP Soundz” to deliver a heavy record. The visuals they provided for the record was also fire and shot by “Limitless Productions”. Both artists are repping ‘Chester Le’ which is a well-known area in the east side of the city, referred to as “CLE not Cleveland” in the record.
